Hello my beautiful souls
I'm Jodie
The founder of Body Vitality and Embody Her Vitality, with over 20 years of experience working with the body through health, movement, and hands-on care.
My work has always been rooted in supporting the body to heal, restore, and feel safe again. Over time, it has evolved beyond physical treatment into nervous-system-led, embodied care, where touch is slow, respectful, and deeply attuned to the individual.
I bring a broad understanding of the body through years of experience in movement, injury recovery, and therapeutic massage, alongside an intuitive approach that listens to what the body is holding beneath the surface. Every session is guided by presence, consent, and care.
Outside of the treatment room, I’m a mother, a partner, and someone who finds grounding in nature, quiet moments, meditation, and time near the ocean. These practices help me stay resourced and present, both in my own life and in my work.
Above all, I value creating a space where clients feel safe the moment they walk through the door. A space where they can exhale, soften, and let go of what they’ve been carrying, knowing they are seen, supported, and held with respect. That sense of safety is the foundation of everything I offer.

Little more info on
My why
My approach is informed not only by professional training, but by lived experience.
From a young age, I learned what it feels like to hold a great deal within the body; emotionally, physically and energetically. I experienced significant trauma early in adulthood and not long after I became a mother at a young age, which required me to function, cope and keep going while placing my own needs aside. Like many women, I learned to block, suppress and carry far more than was ever meant to be held alone.
Over time, this manifested as chronic stress, burnout and deep nervous system fatigue. My own healing journey has shown me just how long the body can carry unprocessed experiences and how powerful it can be when the body is finally given safety, permission and time to let go.
This is why safety, consent, pacing and nervous system regulation are central to my work. I do not believe in forcing change. I believe healing happens when the body feels safe enough to soften.
While my sessions remain grounded in therapeutic massage, my expanding studies allow me to support clients in a more holistic and informed way, particularly those women navigating perimenopause, menopause. For also Men not just woman as we all can endure burnout, emotional holding or disconnection from their bodies.
My role is to support your body’s natural capacity to heal, restore balance and feel safe again. You are not broken. You are not alone. And your body holds an innate wisdom that can be gently reawakened when met with care, respect and understanding.
